Olympic National Park

Camping

Whether it's deep in the rain forest, on a lakeshore or on a cliff above the ocean, camping in Olympic National Park is truly outstanding. Campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please see page 48- for more reservation information. Most camp-grounds offer drinking water, flush or pit toilets, and a table and fireplace at each campsite. There are no hookups, showers or laundry facilities at park campgrounds and some are closed during winter. Indicated campgrounds can accommodate 21-foot RVs. If park campgrounds are full, campgrounds in Olympic National Forest may be available. Contact any of the three USFS ranger stations at Quinault, Forks or Quilcene, or call (360) 956-2300. For backcountry camping in the park, contact the Wilderness Information Center at (360) 565-3100; please also see page 48.
