A sensible choice for those who demand aggressive traction and a supportive stable platform.

Tough enough to fit into the emerging low-cut hiking shoe category yet light enough to help you achieve personal bests wherever you roam the Vasque Men's Velocity Trail Running Shoe is a great match for those who run on especially rough terrain. Substantial support on the medial (inside) of the foot makes the Velocity an excellent motion control shoe ideal for runners who overpronate or have high arches. The Velocity Trail Running Shoe is equipped with Vasque's Mako outsole an aggressive tread for traction on steep grades. A dual density molded EVA midsole and Beneke-Ceroprene rand provide cushioning and support that's critical whether pushing through a multi-hour run or just getting back out on the trail after a layoff. Between the outsole and insole a rigid plate of molded thermoplastic urethane gives the Vasque Velocity Trail Running Shoe for men torsional strength to handle rocky routes and eroded paths. If an extra aggressive urge overcomes you the rubber toe bumper and mesh tongue gusset protect the foot from stubborn roots and loose debris on go-light go-fast scrambles and canyon routes.

I am an avid hiker and outdoor enthusiast and I wear these shoes all the time. The shoes are very comfortable and offer good support but the heel blew out less then 4 months after I bought them. Overall good shoe hopefully I just got the lemon.

My Husband is very particular when it comes to shoes and he loves this product. He wears them running hiking or just around town.

Running trails paths and hills are a pleaseure when wearing these extremely comfortable shoes - also very stable. I've owned and experiemnted with over a half-dozen different trail shoes over the past 5 years; these are the best by far. I've had my one pair for almost 3-years and look forward to purchasing another sometime soon. I picked up my first pair on closeout by accident. I suspect you can get them for around $50 (+/- $10) if you're patient and search regularly.

I have at least six pairs of Vasque tennis shoes and I love them. They are very good for feet that are pronated ( fancy term for flat feet ) since they offer a lot of support. The price may be a little more than your regular tennis shoes but they have better quality ...

I originally got this shoe as a trail running shoe but there so comfortable that I wear them all of the time. My feet are kinda flat and I like a shoe that is snug across the foot with just a little room in the toe box. These shoes work great. I'm now on my second pair.
