I bought this jacket 3 years ago and love it. It's so warm by itself that I have never needed to buy a zip in to go with it. I would recommend this jacket to anyone. It's true to size comfortable as well as durable. Another great quality Northface item!

Not too bad... Image: 4 Stars

Alot of people that I know carried the North Face brand so I decided to check it out... I really needed a winter coat that could face the elements of snow and freezing temperatures so I ordered this light parka. I really liked the style color and its special features but it lacked the total warmth that I needed for those below 30 degree temperatures. I realized that you also need to get the fleece to zip in to get the full effect. But on those mildly cold wet and windy days the parka does a decent performance.

This jacket is a great value! If you're considering the Mountain Guide Jacket the Mountain Light is even cheaper and hardly compromises any features.
