The North Face Women's Amp Boa Trail Running Shoe The North Face: Women's Amp Boa Trail Running Shoe

Similar to the waterproof Endurus XCR Boa but made with hot-weather open-mesh panels.

If you don't like to run in the rain or mud The North Face Women's Amp Boa is your ideal fair-weather trail running companion. The sole shank crash pad and other support features are identical to the top-shelf Endurus XCR Boa but the Amp Boa has bi-level highly breathable air mesh panels instead of the waterproof GORE-TEX® stuff. The North Face Women's Amp Boa is also a running shoe specifically dedicated to trail running. That's because it has a softer ultra lightweight Perimeter UltrATAC rubber outsole that uses a softer compound than running shoes made to pound on asphalt. One of the best and most distinguishing features on the Amp Boa is the Boa multi-adjust lacing system a customizable closure above the gusseted tongue that allows you to cinch up the fit tighter exactly where you need it. Other components like the Roll Control medial heel wedge and shock-absorbing heel X-2 O2 air pod help keep you on your feet across rolling terrain whether you're among red Sedona rocks or the cooler higher latitudes of the Appalachian Trail.

I workout everyday for an hour or so. I have lots of problems with blisters and uncomfortable sneakers. I saw the Amp Boa in a fitness magazine and decided to try them. The first time I used them to work out I was totally amazed. They were very comfortable and I felt like I could work out harder in them. I love the fact that there is no tying involved. You just slip them on and turn the knob. I would recommend these sneakers to anyone who makes fitness an important part of their life.

Very narrow shoe Image: 3 Stars

I think these are good shoes but you have to have a narrow foot. I have pretty average width feet and after just 2 separate 30 minute runs I had bad blisters and could feel the pressure on the sides of the toe box. They are cool that you don't have any laces.

Amazing lace system! No more shoe tying! Image: 5 Stars

I am very impressed with these trail running shoes. I recently purchased these for my daughter as her first trail shoes and she and I are both amazed with the BOA lace system. There is a knob on the back that you turn to tighten the lace cable system ensuring a perfect snug fit. To loosed - simply pull the knob. Amazing and ingenious. Thank you!
