I work outside at night and this base layer is not bulky and keeps me warm. I am in the chicago land area and this winter has been very cold. I haven't pulled out my carharts yet because of this layer. I bought more than one....

I bought the Women's Midweight Crew as a base layer to wear while cycling. I love how good it feels! I tried a silk base layer and never felt warm. Now I put on the Midweight Crew then a fleece layer to keep in the warmth and finally a wind breaker layer. I can ride like this in the thirties-forties with complete comfort. When I warm up I take off the fleece layer and still feel comfortable. Great product! I later bought the SmartWool Midweight Bottoms because I was so happy with the Crew.

Ok I will--I love merino wool and smartwool does it best. I have the midweight crew in other colors but I was thrilled to see it in natural heather--a perfect undershirt. Cozy warm breathable and I can wear it a few days in a row with no odor!!
