If you have to run in the heat opt for the ventilated comfort of these lightweight and highly breathable Aurora Shorts from Pearl Izumi. Pearl added Direct-Vent panels along the front and back to enhance the cooling throughout the fast-drying and lightweight polyester inner liner. The shell fabric is a blend of Spandex and polyester for enhanced stretch and there is a partial side split for improved range of motion. The Aurora is a great running short for hot days--and those times when a sadistic race director thinks it's a good idea to have a marathon race start at 9:30 AM in the middle of August.

I absolutely love these shorts. I am an avid runner during the heat of the summer and I have always found it hard to find running shorts that are long enough cool and fit well. They fit very true to size and are long enough to wear to the grocery store after your workout.

These shorts are good. Just good. Nothing really wrong with them though they are pretty baggy in a pouchy kind of way. I love the fabric and the liner. Also the perfect "shortness". Will continue quest for something more epic.
