this rain jacket seems to have a good dwr coating an excellant hood and good breathablity. it is also light weight and packable. the only thing i could wish for is an outside chest pocket in place of the interior pocket. have not used in long periods of steady rain.

its sleek and fresh feeling light and perfectly adjustable nice detail on seams/interior i'll reiterate that an outside chest pocket would be helpful i like those. hood is nice and snug if you want; nice lines. otherwise a great shell.

I got the patagonia jetstream for a trip down to patagonia. Over the course of my trip I had my jacket completely soak through time after time in light and medium rainfall. People with other jackets in the same price range would often look hardly wet while in the same pictures me and my friend in the Jetstream look like we just exited a swimming pool. I'm impressed with all the patagonia gear I own aside but this jacket just doesn't like up.
