Common Threads Recycling ProgramResearch shows that the environmental impact of recycling worn-out Capilene base layers into new polyester fiber is significantly lower than making that same fiber from virgin materials. Great shirt I've used it for hiking biking and running in warm/hot weather and it's been perfect for all of those. The fabric is thin but not fragile and is very breathable. Capilene 3 or 4 would probably be a better baselayer in cold weather but this a great shirt for warm/hot weather exercise.

Capilene base layers been keepin my "okole" warm while waiting for hookmouths trouts to swallow night crawlers!5:00am talking to fishes need Patagonia to lighten the load. so. c Talking to troutsbass @5:00am wake up calls in freezin weather with my baselayer keepin my fat arse from being icicle!Perfect to wear when sun finally sneaks up.Bought 4 xxl to be ready for the global warming monsta weather prediction!

I normally like capilene base layer and liners. However this capilene is a little too thick and tight in the arms for me.
