Designed to meet the changing conditions of a full season this 3-in1 glove system can handle any backcountry situation from an early-season rock ski to a deep alpine slot. A Schoeller® Dynamic Extreme® shell with a GORE-TEX® XCR® insert gives this glove durable waterproof performance. The Pittards® Armortan® leather palm provides superior abrasion resistance and grip. Insulated with Moonlite Pile fleece in the palm and 5 oz. PrimaLoft® on the back of the hand the Super Couloir will keep you warm on any wintry run. The included Vert Glove&$153 has a Schoeller® fabric shell full leather palm and tricot lining. Wear the Vert alone in spring conditions or wear it in conjunction with the Super Couloir shell for additional insulation.

I bought this glove a year ago and although the Vert glove fits perfectly it is too snug to use as a liner with the larger Super Couloir glove. OR acknowledged that this has been a problem for some people and offered to do whatever I wanted to rectify the problem including a full refund for well used gloves. I opted to get the 2006 version of the larger glove which they say will be a more generous fit. I agree with everything else said about these gloves and give the company a "5" for customer service.

These are the best gloves I have ever used. You can ski all day in zero degree temps and your fingers stay warm...even without the liners. The one unfortunate thing is that they got rid of the soft nose wipe and goggle wipe on the 2006 gloves. That was a great function to have and I wish the new ones came with them.

Large glove combo was to restricting with both liner and outer together X-Large is too loose individually and about right combined. I think in my situation a Large liner and X-Large outer would be just right. Maybe I should have stayed with Large and used liner and outer individually. On a cold day the outer shell was enough protection by it's self.

These are probably the best and last pair of ski gloves I will ever buy. I needed a new pair for my up coming trip to Snowbird and Alta and the Super Couloir Gloves are amazing. The light weight inner glove is excellent for carrying equipment and handling gear while the outer glove keeps you dry no matter how deep the powder.

I was hesitant about spending the money but have no regrets. These gloves are wonderful. Schoeller fabrics are the age of the future. Try them and see for yourself.
