A chameleon in the world of backpacks the Osprey Men's Waypoint 60 backpack quickly converts from a serious load carrier for alpine treks to spacious luggage for world travel. For trekking and backpacking the Osprey Waypoint 60 men's backpack relies on a sophisticated suspension system consisting of a plastic framesheet surrounded by peripheral composite rods that stabilize the load and transfer the weight to a fixed Isoform hipbelt specifically sized for a male's build. This hipbelt features Osprey’s exclusive ErgoPull technology. The ErgoPull design places tension along the top and bottom of the belt not through the center so it evenly distributes gentle pressure over the entire belt. An interchangeable die-cut shoulder harness available in a few sizes (but usually appropriately matched for the user at the factory) does its share to evenly distribute the load. When not in use the hipbelt and harness fold behind a protective cover. For transport at the train station airport or bus terminal the Osprey Waypoint 60 backpack offers a shoulder strap for over-the-shoulder carries a suitcase style side carry handle for quick lifts into taxi trunks and a detachable daypack for short missions of discovery once you've established a base camp. The interior is designed to keep your belongings nice and tidy including clothing straps to keep that nice outfit wrinkle free and multiple fabric and mesh organization pockets. The exterior of the Osprey Waypoint 60 men's backpack features in addition to the detachable daypack includes a Straightjacket compression straps and wings that when cinched down allow smaller go-light loads to ride securely instead of shifting back and forth. To further protect the load the main compartment's zipper has large lockable zippers and both the main pack body and detachable daypack have foam padding to cushion any blows.
