Osprey Packs Atmos 35 Backpack Osprey Packs: Atmos 35 Backpack

Ergonomically streamlined for adventure races and ultralight backpacking. 2300-cu.-in. capacity.

Go fast and far in amazing comfort with Osprey's Atmos 35 backpack. Excellent for day hikes overnight minimalist trips and weekend adventure racing the Atmos 35 streamlines efficiency with full-length panel-loading access and plenty of accessible features. Anything that touches your back is covered with a breathable mesh or a special perforated waffle foam that won't heat you up like conventional backpanel fabrics. The backpanel on the Atmos 35 is stretched taut so the load sinks evenly into the lumbar support area instead of riding on your hips resulting in uniform pressure that neutralizes hot spots. Two quick release straps on the other side of the backpanel attach to your hydration pouch for fast refill access and versatile hydration tube routing. If you've always wanted a supportive Osprey day pack but you worried about extra ounces the Atmos 35 could be the last light pack you'll ever need.

Well thought out pack Image: 5 Stars

The back ventilation rocks and when it gets cold and you want a little insulation a fleece behind the back netting works great. The main zipper could be a little more beefy.

Amazing pack, but not for cycling Image: 5 Stars

I'll rate this pack a full 5 stars. I can't think of anything wrong with it. Both the design and construction quality are impeccable. However this particular pack did not work for me because I need a pack that is compatible with cycling. When riding this pack rides slightly higher on my torso and the top of the frame hits my head and helmet; I actually can't even lift my head all the way which makes this issue both annoying and potentially dangerous. If you're looking at this pack and you need to use it while cycling I recommend checking on the Osprey Stratos line instead. The Stratos 24 works for me. It is slightly smaller than the Atmos 35 but large enough for my needs.

Very comfortable Image: 5 Stars

This pack is very comfortable . I have used it for numerous day hikes of varying distances and my shoulders always feel great when finished. The mesh also keeps your back well ventilated. The internal frame did make me adjust the way that I pack some of my gear but it is definately worth it for the comfort. I would definately recommend to others.

I love the cool airspeed suspension system. The pack is light and comfortable.

This pack is lightweight durable and very comfortable to carry. Great for long day hikes. The suspension seems like it takes up a lot of the pack's room but I have found putting my hydration pack in the cavity behind the mesh mitigates this. I have never not had enough room in the pack even on winter hikes.
