I have had Nalgene bottles for quite a while being the avid outdoorsman that I am. Me and my friends have done everything to this thing. We have run over it twice once with a big truck. we have hit it with baseball bats thrown it at concrete walls. thrown it off of buildings. Yet it still remains unharmed except for the occasional scratches and a dent.

Nalgenes are the best. The first two I bought were the translucent white ones that aren't so pretty and aren't made of lexan. I bought them for a 5 week backcountry/trail-working trip and they endured the whole time (and became my closest friends out there - I'm sure other Nalgene fans can relate to this). Anyway the white ones-- while they endured didn't do too well with hot water (we had to boil stream water for drinking). It was a little concave but that eventually straightened out. Though the whities have lasted me I'm retiring them and getting the tougher lexan. Raspberry red Violet and the new pink! Yes I'm starting something of a family- but Nalgenes are worth it!

I love my Nalgene bottle. I don't know what I would do without it. As a swimmer I use it for everything. If I don't have it one day I feel like I am missing something. During a typical swim practice the pool deck looks like a Nalgene party. Almost every swimmer has one. They are extremely durable they can be thrown at walls multiple times without breaking. And they honestly don't make your water taste funny.
