This sandle is more like a shoe than a sandle. It is built on a shoe last.I also have & enjoy Keens. But this bable has more control than the keens.It has side support speed laceing & adjustable heel support. The rear strap can be removed which makes it a slide. The Vibram soles will last for years. UNFORTUNATELY IT IS NOT WATERPROOF. IT IS A 5 STAR HIT. AND I don't need my orthodics.
