Lots of exterior storage the pack is pretty light weight however it is a little uncomfortable with a heavy load all and all nice overnight pack an experienced packer could probably get a couple days out of it.

Does not fit a 21 inch torso! Image: 3 Stars

The backpack was OK. It did not fit my 21 inch torso (closer to 20). The suspension system also seemed to take up way too much room inside the pack. The build quality was top notch it just did not work for me. I would also prefer some different colors. I returned and went with an Osprey Kestrel. My experience with Altrec was good however they made the return process very easy. Thanks

I found myself in Colorado without my pack and wanting to hike a few difficult hikes so i sauntered into a local store and found this pack on sale. This pack fits the bill. Lightweight and handles the weight (including more than a gallon of water) I am very very impressed and has a stellar cost to quality rating in my book. Do not overlook this pack.

this is a lightweight pack I think it is designed for around 35 pounds I suggest no more that this due to the suppension system not functioning properly with a heavy load making the pack uncomfortable however lots of outside storage pockets to keep gear handy built in fly is a nice feature and is water proof at least stayed dry in 3 hour steady rain good price for nice pack and deuter customer service is second to none
