These shoes fit a womens foot very nicely. They are narrow in the heal cup and cut pretty low to prevent the annoying jabbing into the ankle. I generally wear them as my long route shoes but I am willing to try them as a performance shoe as well. They are stiff but not too stiff. They have a nice edge on them that will help you stand on the tiniest of holds.
