Arc'teryx Women's Theta AR Jacket Arc'teryx: Women's Theta AR Jacket

Now made with Gore-Tex® Pro Shell fabric it's more durable breathable & lighter than before.

If extended trips or a job as a guide place you in the outdoors rain or shine then a tough storm proof jacket like the Arc'teryx Women's Theta AR is an unbeatable choice. It features the new GORE-TEX® Pro Shell a fabric that breathes better lasts longer and is even lighter than the materials used in the previous version of this popular jacket. In fact this year's version is significantly lighter than in years past offering a greater level of comfort and packability. Crammed with features to satisfy even the most hardcore mountaineer or backcountry skier the Arc'teryx Theta AR Jacket makes up for any excess weight this may add by employing industry leading innovations such as micro seam allowances and tiny GORE-TEX® seam taping. But toughness and saving weight isn't all that this jacket is about. Waist and hem drawcords articulated elbows and no-lift gusseted underarms allow for full range of motion while blocking cold drafts and spindrift. Laminated zippers and bonded soft grommets contribute to the jacket's supple feel and the one hand pull cords are exceedingly convenient when one hand is busy tending to a belay.

I bougth this jacket for a friend of mine. She loves it. It's got a very good fit and has all the right details. The Theta AR is really an allround model. We use it for hiking mountaineering and skiing.

The Act'teryx Theta AR jacket not only successfully wards off the wind and cold but it is amazingly light weight and very stylish. No more bulky jackets for me when snowshoeing or skiing. Without question this high-tech jacket is well worth its price....

JUST RETURNED FROM A CRUISE TO ALASKA AND USE MY NEW JACKET WHILE HELICOPTER RIDING ON GLACIER BAY! WORKED BEAUTIFULLY. THE JACKET HAS A COMPLICATED SYSTEMS OF PULL CORDS THAT I COULD HAVE USED AN EXPLANATION FOR...WOULD RECOMMEND THESE INSTRUCTIONS BE INCLUDED IN THE VARIOUS TAGS. THIS IS A GOOD INVESTMENT FOR AN ALL AROUND RAIN/WEATHER JACKET

I bought this jacket because I was moving to New Zealand and was going to do a lot of outdoor stuff in raining conditions. This jacket is the best hardshell I have ever owned. I bought a size bigger because I usually put a few layers under it. It fits very nicely compared to a lot of other woman's jacket. The sleeves are long enough. Well worth the extra money as I have been staying dry every time I wore it.

The best jacket I've ever owned. It's quite light but keeps warm and confortable. Works perfectly in rain and snow. Absolutely worth the money.
