As I'm loving trendy sportsware arc'teryx is a top brand. The Jacket is lightweight and tough. only the zipper is not so good especially for men for which it is on the wrong side ;-) I wear it most as a normal Jacket for going to work.

I got this jacket over a year ago for a super deal like $80 but I wouldn't pay full price for it. It has limited stand alone warmth and nill on the wind protection. It stands against light rain and snow well. I use it for fast paced activities and it breathes very well. I don't own an ipod but the two front pocket seem like they could hold something slightly bigger but not much thicker. I would have liked the hem to drop down a bit more. I'm 5'11" and the size medium only comes past my waist an inch or so but the rest of the jacket fits very nicely. All in all if your moving fast it's cool/cold out and you want something that is going to protect you from some unpredictable weather this is a very good jacket. Of course they came out with the hooded version a few months after I bought the AR. Maybe I'll find it for a super deal.

Huge fan of the Epsilon ar. I have several other pieces from Arc'Teryx and this one lives up to the rest despite that it is made in China. The only way you will know it is made in China is on the tab near the neck. Other than that the craftsmanship is there. This is a great jacket for those cool summer nights walking the dog or just hangin' around at the local pub. Try to find it on sale. Although considering the high price of most softshells this one is relatively inexpensive. This jacket is for the minimalist who needs the added waterproofness of a light weight shell. The dual napolean pockets are handy. Granted it has no pockets on the hips who needs 'em? If I need to hold anything its usually in my pants pocket or the napolean pocket. The soft fleece on the inside of the neck is great too. Go ahead and pick it up you won't be disappointed!
